This page states who publishes The Clinic Notes, how it is funded, what commercial relationships exist, and the standard every article is held to. We publish it because the sites competing with us for the same searches do not.
Ownership and funding
The Clinic Notes is independently owned and operated. It is not owned by, affiliated with, or funded by any clinic, hospital, medical group, patient-referral agency, device manufacturer, or pharmaceutical company.
Commercial relationships
- We receive no payment, commission, referral fee, discount, free treatment, or other benefit from any clinic, hospital, doctor, or agency mentioned on this site.
- We are not registered as, and do not operate as, a foreign patient facilitator under Korea’s Act on Support for Overseas Expansion of Healthcare System and Attraction of Foreign Patients. We do not introduce patients to medical institutions.
- We do not sell placement, mentions, sponsored posts, or links. No party can pay to appear on this site or to be removed from it.
- This site may display advertising served by third-party advertising networks, and may in future use affiliate links for non-medical products or services. Where an affiliate link appears, it is marked in the text and carries a rel=”sponsored” attribute. Advertising and affiliate arrangements never influence editorial content, and no advertiser sees an article before publication.
Verification standard
- Minimum three independent sources for every factual claim.
- Primary sources preferred and cited directly: Korean statutes and enforcement decrees, ministry and regulator notices, official databases and registries, court decisions, and published statistics with their reporting periods.
- Every figure is published with the date it was verified and the period it covers.
- Sources with a commercial interest in the subject are identified as such in the text.
- Unverified claims are either excluded or explicitly labelled as unverified. Each article carries a section stating what we could not confirm and why.
Authorship
Articles are written and verified by the site’s editorial team. Where an article draws on a named expert, that person and their affiliation are stated in the text. We do not publish articles under invented author names or fabricated credentials.
Corrections policy
Errors are corrected on the affected page, not quietly removed. Each correction records the date, what the previous version said, and what changed. Material corrections are noted at the top of the article. If you believe something here is wrong, write to [email protected] with the specific claim and, where available, a source.
Medical disclaimer
The Clinic Notes publishes information, not medical advice. Nothing on this site establishes a doctor-patient relationship, and nothing here should be used to diagnose, treat, or make a decision about a medical procedure without consulting a licensed physician. Regulatory approvals, prices, and clinical guidance change; verify anything time-sensitive against the source before you act on it.
Complaints
If you are a clinic, agency, or manufacturer and believe we have published something inaccurate about you, write to [email protected] stating the specific claim and the evidence. We will review it and correct anything we cannot defend. We do not remove accurate reporting on request.
